What You'll Be Tackling
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver accurate, detailed, and competitive proposals
for complex and technical projects including remediation, civil
construction, field services, and industrial services, ensuring
alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive construction documentation,
including work plans, submittals, and health & safety plans.
- Assemble high-quality, professional bid packages tailored to
project specifications and client requirements.
- Interpret construction and civil drawings to perform precise
quantity take-offs, utilizing industry-standard software for volume
and material calculations.
- Accurately calculate final quantities for earthwork, backfill,
tank capacities, schedules, trenching, and piping.
- Participate in bid and site walkthroughs to gather
project-specific information and assess site conditions.
- Analyze and interpret technical bid documents to support accurate
and competitive proposal development.
- Review and interpret contract language to ensure compliance and
minimize risk.
- Evaluate financial implications related to profit and loss,
margins, and budgeting.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of environmental remediation
practices, excavation, construction, and related activities,
including facility closures and the removal/decommissioning of
USTs/ASTs.
- Maintain working knowledge of applicable regulatory and health &
safety standards, including OSHA, DOT, DEP, and EPA guidelines.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors and
subcontractors to support project execution and ensure quality
deliverables.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business.
- Collaborate closely with company leadership, participating in bid
preparation, project handovers, and daily organizational
meetings.
- Execute and complete company-related tasks as needed to support
overall business operations.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration across all
EWMI/RRI departments.
- Adhere to and enforce company Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs), policies, and Health & Safety (H&S) protocols.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
Outlook) and possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal
communication skills.
- Create and manage construction schedules, including bid
submittals, using Microsoft Project.
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills, with
the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
