Job Description:

Client in the food processing industry located in the Reading, PA area has an immediate need for a talented and experienced Human Resource professional to fill and open role.

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Some Responsibilities for selected Safety Coordinator but not limited to would include:

- Provides safety leadership and direction to the operations to ensure consistent delivery of safety policies and procedures.

- Performs workplace safety / risk assessments and assists leadership with implementation of improvement suggestions.

- Perform and provide new hire and ongoing safety training sessions to maintain safety/OSHA compliance.

- Lead monthly safety meetings and ensure all required documentation is up to date and compliant with OSHA, PA Certified Safety Committee, as well as any other state requirements and company policy.

Qualifications for selected Safety Coordinator but not limited to:

***BILINGUAL REQUIRED***

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

- AA or BS/BA degree in related field preferred.

- Minimum 3 years of equivalent safety experience in a manufacturing/production facility required; food production facility experience preferred.

- OSHA 30, preferred.

- Outstanding communication skills.

- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
