and Economic Development Delivery Center, Technology Services
Office is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology (IT)
professional to join the Infrastructure team to support various
technologies used to provide applications and services to employees
and the citizens of Pennsylvania and support multiple facilities
and users in the south-central region of Pennsylvania in Adams,
Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
An Information Technology Generalist 1 reports to the Office of
Administration, Infrastructure and Economic Development (IED)
Delivery Center, Technology Services Office (TSO), IT Coordinator
Division. This position provides a variety of support and systems
enhancement activities for Information Technology end users in the
District and County offices as well as Construction Field offices,
County Stockpiles, Welcome Centers, Driver License Centers, and
other remote PennDOT, DCED, and PEMA sites as required. Work
involves performing troubleshooting and resolving network issues,
installation and servicing of hardware and software, and assisting
users in adapting and applying information technology to work
applications.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork
hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute
lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home
(telework) part-time, 3 days per week in the office, telework
options beyond that depending on operational needs. In order to
telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet
connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report
to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.Salary: In some cases, the

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year
as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology
Technician (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal
Government job titles, as determined by the Office of
Administration); orThree years of information technology experience
in applications development or applications maintenance, networking
or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or
other information technology support/administration services ;orOne
year of information technology experience in applications
development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop
services, web site development or web site design, or other
information technology support/administration services, and an
associate's degree in any information technology field; orAn
equivalent combination of experience and training.
