• Employment Type: Local ContractWCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a reputable Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Reading, PA. This role offers a valuable opportunity to deliver high-quality surgical care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.Job Function:
  
  • Day Shift.
    
  • 6:30AM - 5PM.
    
  • Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in the facility EMR in a timely manner.
    
  • Prepares the operating room for the patient/procedure and assists other staff with room breakdown.
    
  • Assists in patient positioning and ensures patient comfort and safety.
    
  • Provides accurate care and proper handling of specimens.
    
  • Initiates corrective actions as needed.
    
  • Observes and enforces strict aseptic standards.
    
    
    Job Requirements:
    
    • 1-2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
      
    • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
      
    • Current State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
      
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
      
    • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
