HOURLY RATE: $90/hr. to $100/hr. range. Benefits available
12 month+ contract

ALTA is seeking an experienced PLC Engineer/consultant to support the decoupling and integration of multiple systems into a single Azo System for our pharmaceutical client in Myerstown, PA. This role involves PLC programming, system configuration, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure seamless automation and compliance with industry standards.
This is a 12-month+ contract opening. 5 days a week onsite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in Azo System decoupling and integration, ensuring minimal operational disruptions.
Develop, modify, and optimize ControlLogix PLC logic across different environments.
Configure and troubleshoot hardware, phase logic, and HMI systems (PanelView, FactoryTalk Batch, Logix Studio, RS Logix 5000, FT View ME, RSLinx).
Collaborate with end-users and vendors to clarify requirements and ensure successful implementation.
Work closely with onsite and offshore teams to manage tasks and deliverables.
Assess risks, implement mitigation measures, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Support validation, documentation, and qualification execution to ensure system reliability.


MUST-HAVE SKILLS: Expertise in ControlLogix PLC programming and hardware configuration.
Hands-on experience with phase logic, PanelView HMI, FactoryTalk Batch, Logix Studio, RS Logix 5000, FT View ME, and RSLinx.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and risk evaluation skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced industrial environment.
