Description

In-Depth Engineering Corporation is seeking dedicated and innovative software engineers to support our rapidly growing Department of the Navy development programs. This position offers the opportunity to work on real time signal processing research and development efforts for the Navy customer(s). The position is focused on translating complex and high data rate algorithms into tactical software. Software will be developed using the latest tools, technologies and infrastructures to enable integration with state-of-the-art hardware.

The work will be performed on-site at In-Depth's Research and Development Lab in Columbia, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate MATLAB algorithms into Linux-based C++ programs.
• Utilize modern software tools within an agile environment.
• Design, develop, integrate and test software across several programs.
• Prepare software engineering design documentation.
• Present engineering materials during peer and customer reviews.   Qualifications
  
  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 5-10 years of software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in C++ in a Linux environment
  • Experience in the design and/or integration of sensor systems is preferred
  • Experience with data analysis, modeling and algorithm development tools, such as MATLAB, is required
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance
  • Must be US Citizen for consideration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
