Job Description:
A company is looking for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
(TVI) for a fully remote position in Missouri.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs) for students with visual impairments
Adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of visually impaired
students, including braille instruction and assistive
technology
Provide virtual instruction and support through synchronous and
asynchronous learning platforms
Required Qualifications
EIPA score of at least 3.5
Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (CTVI)
preferred
Experience with braille instruction and assistive technology
Strong understanding of IEP development for visually impaired
students
Must be comfortable as an independent contractor (1099)
